The Astronomy and Science Fiction classes have wrapped up their field trips for the year with two successful trips! They went back to Beyond Reality to work on their collaboration and communication skills in a cross-curricular setting. Beyond Reality thanked the group for always being so respectful and excited. The classes then went to Colgate University where they were able to spend time in the Visualization Lab: learning about the formation of the Moon and current astrophysics research related to Mercury, "riding" a roller coaster to view Saturn's rings in great detail, and learning more about the mythology behind some of the constellations in the night sky in our area! Students also received a tour of the greenhouse from Colgate students, were able to plant sunflowers and ask about college life, and toured the Geology Museum where they had the opportunity to hold two meteorites. Thank you to Beyond Reality and Colgate University for providing such positive experiences for our students!

On Saturday, April 1st, the National Honor Society held its annual Easter Egg Hunt for the children of the community. Eggs and candy were donated by high school members and they spent days filling the eggs to get ready for the event. Mrs. Pauley and Mrs. Trevisani, NHS advisors, would like to thank all of the members for helping out and the families who braved a little bit of rain to make the morning a success. Also, a big thank you to the HUB for their generous donation of plastic eggs!
