Mount Markham Middle School

Wyatt Seelman has been selected as the Mt. Markham Optimist Club 8th Grade Youth of the Month for October. Wyatt is the son of Rachael Seelman and David Witt of West Winfield, NY. While in Middle School, Wyatt has been involved in the National Junior Honor Society and is the Vice-President this year. Wyatt is a student in the Accelerated Math, Science, and ELA classes as well as the AFNR class. Wyatt also ran Cross-Country this fall and is a member of the Track and Field team. Wyatt is an active member of the Junior FFA and has participated in several community service events as well as being a 2024 Agriculture Literacy Week Volunteer. Wyatt has been on the Gold Honor Roll throughout his years at the Middle School. Wyatt’s future plans include graduating high school and attending college to be a biologist or a physicist.
