The sportsmanship award was presented in December to the girls' varsity field hockey team. This award recognizes the exceptional sportsmanship demonstrated throughout the season by the players, coaches, spectators, and administration. The team consistently showed respect for one another, the officials, opposing teams, and their fans. This honor is awarded based on a vote conducted by the Utica Board of Field Hockey Officials. The Mount Markham team should take pride in their achievement, and the board expresses its gratitude for their commitment to promoting strong values and respect throughout the season.
Mrs. Coleman, Vice President of the Utica Board of Field Hockey Officials, presented the award to the seniors and captains.
